It doesn’t matter whether we are 65 years young or a teenager we all have made our share of resolutions, most of them fly away like dust in a wind storm within the first few months.

Resolutions are made all year long which is why I want to talk about parts of this article. How many of you have tried to de-clutter your space and failed at some point in your life? How about in the last 5 years or even this year? We live in a world of possessions. We love to give “things” as well as receive “things,” not to mention all the stuff we purchase for ourselves.

Ciji writes it very well in the section titled The “Things” in Our Lives where she talks about cherished possessions. She then moves on to Where to start where she encourages us to “be tough” and start tossing.

This is NOT just for the older generation! It IS for everyone to ponder and ask some thoughtful questions. How can I apply this to my life, even at a young age? How can I use this valuable information to help my parents or grandparents? Read the article and let it sink in, then pass the information along to others. Declutter Your Life

Did you know that Google Voice lets you have one number to give out that rings on up to six of your various phones. No matter where you are, you get your calls. But not just calls, the calls are put into text and sent to you via email. How cool is that! Never again will I forget pieces of information within a phone call, it will all be in writing. What’s even better is that within the US, there are no long distant charges when you call out.

Speaking of books on getting organized, I have another confession to make. This one has me all pumped up. Official Announcement: I am a co-author, along with nineteen other co-authors, of a book that will be out towards the end of this year. The book is titled “Incredible Business” and each co-author writes, from their expertise, about a different aspect in having an incredible business.

My chapter is on having a royally organized office; a few of the other chapter topics are on business planning, developing strategic alliances and online social networking for business. So here you have it, my first blog post and my first true confession. I encourage you to take that step and do it. If you need the assistance of a professional travel agent, organizer or recruiter… just Do It! I used the encouragement and help of loving people I network with, some of which are paid professionals. You have to do what you have to do to get started.

What has changed? I no longer allow negativity to whisper in my ear or dictate my thoughts. It’s not magical or mystical, it is recognizing that thoughts/self talk is going on faster than we can speak. Those thoughts are either positive or negative. If negative, we can replace those negative thoughts with positive statements in our thoughts and in our words.

My “Rays of Hope” are helping me change the negative into positive. I have the bright warm glow of  the sun with powerful rays reaching to the ends of the earth. Hope is embedded in the center of all that energy. The rays of glorious sunlight sending hope and strength, in every direction, wherever needed.

What do you need “Rays of Hope” for? What is fear is holding you back from achieving? List your positive “Rays of Hope” and read them out loud often. Remember your accomplishments, no matter how small you think they are. When negativity tries to whisper in your ear… read or speak those positive Rays of Hope. You will begin to notice the change and will accomplish much.

2010 is the best year of my life, make it yours too!
